We find out whether your build needs approval and handle the paperwork — best started in winter, so you are not waiting on it in July.
Where approval is needed, we prepare and submit the paperwork for you, and deal with the back and forth. What we will not do is guess: we establish what actually applies to your property before anything is drawn up or ordered.

This is the part worth acting on now. Approvals run on their own timetable, not yours, and they do not speed up because the lake has thawed. A file opened in January is usually settled long before the season starts. The same file opened in May can put your dock into July — and July is the dock you wanted in June. Nothing about the process requires open water, so the whole thing can be done while the bay is frozen and you are not thinking about it.
A new dock going onto a shoreline that has never had one. A replacement that changes the size, shape or footprint rather than swapping like for like. An expansion, an added slip, or a move to a different part of the shoreline. If you are doing any of those next summer, this is the winter to sort it.
For deep or fluctuating water, a floating system is usually the answer.

Call us over the winter and we will tell you straight whether you need a permit. If you do, we will handle it, and your build will not be sitting behind an approval when the season opens.
