Every Legacy dock is a set of modular frames and removable decking panels. Together they look like one continuous dock — and they come apart in an afternoon.
Every frame is cut, welded and inspected by our own team before it goes anywhere near a trailer. Aluminum is the whole reason these docks last — it doesn’t rot, doesn’t rust, doesn’t swell and doesn’t need sealing every spring the way a wood frame does.
It is also light. A section of aluminum frame weighs a fraction of the equivalent in pressure treated lumber, which is what makes everything further down this page possible.

A dock isn’t built as one piece. It is built as a set of sections sized to your waterfront and joined so the seams disappear underfoot — which means it can be extended, reconfigured or taken apart later without cutting anything.
The decking sits in removable panels rather than being fixed to the frame. Lift them off and what’s left is a light aluminum skeleton.
Frames come apart into manageable sections at the joins. On a small system one person can walk them out of the water.
Numbered and set the way it came out, so the reinstall in spring puts everything exactly where it was.
Re-deck it in ten years and you keep the frame, the footings and the layout. Only the surface is new.
The frame doesn’t change — the surface is yours to pick, and you can change your mind about it years later without touching anything else.
Our most popular board and what most Legacy docks are decked in. Warm brown, hard-wearing, and the best value on the list. Takes a stain beautifully when you want to freshen it up.
The premium wood option. Lighter underfoot, naturally resistant, and it weathers to a colour a lot of people love. Wants a coat every few seasons to hold its tone.
No staining, no sanding, no splinters, ever. Stays cool enough for bare feet and looks the same in year fifteen as it did on day one.
Everything PVC does, made from reclaimed material. The choice for anyone who wants the low-maintenance surface without the virgin plastic.
Open-grid panels that let light and water straight through. Waves pass under instead of slamming into the deck, weed growth underneath stays healthier, and the surface drains instantly.
A dock off a shelf assumes your shoreline looks like everybody else’s. It doesn’t. We build starting platforms where there is nowhere solid to begin, and we mount to what’s already there — existing cribs, decks, retaining walls, rock — rather than asking you to work around a fixed shape.
Starting platforms built where the shoreline gives you nothing to work from
Mounted to existing cribs, decks, walls or rock instead of replacing them
Sized to your depth, your drop and the way you actually use the water
Site inspection first on anything complicated, so there are no surprises on install day
